
Thank you for your interest in cooking classes at the UCSF Wellness Center!
This special series of cooking classes is designed specifically for kids, teens, and young adults living with a chronic medical condition. Cook alongside a professional chef, try out delicious new recipes, and connect with other youth who share similar experiences-all in a supportive and fun environment.
May Cooking Series (Hybrid: In-Person or Virtual):
Join us in person or virtually-whatever works best for you!
- When: Thursdays May 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th
- Format: Hybrid (You can choose to come in person to 1825 4th St, 4th Floor in San Francisco or attend virtually by ZOOM)
Just so you know:
- Before the class we will help make sure you have everything you need!
- we will email you a recipe, ingredient list, and supply list.
- ingredients & supplies will be provided for in-person attendees.
- for virtual attendees, someone from our team will contact your parent/guardian with the Zoom info.
- After the class we will ask you how it went and what we could do better next time If you have any questions or concerns at anytime, please reach out to Dr Emily von Scheven at [email protected] or Kristine Kwok at [email protected]. If you can't make it this time, the 4 week Thursday 5pm series is offered bimonthly: July, September, and November, so hope you can join a future month!
